I don't know if this will help, but I had a look at the census for 1841 and the family are enumerated in a hamlet called Blaenegel. Multimap doesn't seem to recognise the name, but if you look for Gwaun-cae-gurwen (aka GCG), a river Egel shows on the map to the east. On the Genuki page for Llangiwg, there's a link to a church and chapels database for Cwmgors and GCG, but the website isn't playing today. Perhaps if it decides to work sometime, it will give you a clue to where Hannah might be buried.
