This is all i can find on this family
Elizabeth Brown Laurie b 29 Jul 1808 Carluke, Ch 7 Aug 1808 Carluke d/o Robert Lawrie and Jean Scott
Married Alexander Cooper 28 Jul 1844 Carluke.
I would like to see if Elizabeth & Alexander Cooper are on the 51 Census and if they had any children. I have one child for them: a Unknown Cooper b 19 Nov 1851 Carluke d 19 Nov 1851 Carluke. So they were in Carluke in 1851.
Can anyone help ?

The 1851 index for Carluke has#
Alexander Cooper aged 35 born in Carluke
Elizabeth Cooper aged 39 born Carluke
Jane cooper aged 5 born in Carluke
Robert Cooper aged 2 also born carluke
Ward 629 Dist 1 Page 5 lines 16- 19
also listed immediately below them and possibly living with them is
Jane Laurie aged 81 born Rox Hobkirk

Hello Carol, in the 1851 census Alexander & Elizabewth Cooper have two children, they are

Jane age 5yrsborn Carluke
Robert 2yrs born Carluke.
