Hi Lubbie

Is this the same Enoch HALL who was in Wales in 1881, wife Jane?

Cheers

Then here he is ( I beleive - no other one I see to fit!)  ;D

1871: Much Woolton, Lancashire
REF:  RG10 /  Piece3855- Folio 60- Pg12
ADDRESS: 2 Acrefield Road
Head: John HALL 52, Beerseller, b St Martins, Salop
Wife: Ellen HALL 58, b Appleton, Lancs.
Servant: Mary GLOVER 17, unm, General Servant Domestic, b Cronton, Lancs
Visitor: Sarah GLOVER 9, b Cronton, Lancs
Lodger:  Enoch HALL 19, unm, Gardener, b ST Martins Salop

I also see him in 1891 Wales - showing again the same POB and age consistent with YOB 1852...do you need that? I guess you are trying to locate his parents??

Cheers

Here he is in 1891:

1891: Cefn Mawr, Ruabon, Denbeighshire
REF: RG12/ Piece 4613- Folio 110- Pg26
ADDRESS: 11 Mount Pleasant
Head: Enoch 39, Collier (Miner) b St Martins Salop
Wife: Jane 35, b Wrexham Denbeigh
Son: George 12, Scholar, b St Martins Salop
Son: John J 10, Scholar, b Cefn Mawr, Denbeigh
Dau: Eliza 5, b Cefn Mawr, Denbeigh
Dau: Sarah J 3, b Cefn Mawr, Denbeigh
Dau: Annie 1,  b Cefn Mawr, Denbeigh

Looking on IGI there is a Births/Christening of a John HALL 1818 St Martins to parents Richard HALL  and Ann.  If you do a Birth Search of those parents in Shropshire, and pick out the St Martins ones - there is an Isaac 1812,  Enoch 1814, Richard 1811, and WIlliam 1816 as well as John 1818... this may be the family from which your Enoch springs.

Have your Enoch's  father's details off his marriage to Jane?

Cheers
