Neighbour surname in Southend
« on: Monday 20 November 06 17:55 GMT (UK) »
Hello

Does anyone have any information on the following residents of Southend-on-Sea?

Frederick George Neighbour husband of Ann Neighbour (formerly Watkins).
Living at 35 Southchurch Hall Close, Southend-on-Sea in 1934.

Frederick's occupation is as a Press Advertisement Censor in 1934.

My research involves the first son of Frederick who was a RAF pilot killed in 1944.

Many thanks

Mike

Hi Mike,

The local paper for the Southend area, Evening Echo, carries a feature on its website called "Where are they now?"  It might be worth posting a message there.  Possibly a letter as well to appear in the paper.

Good luck,

Thanks Nanny jan

I have contacted local papers for similar reasons before with varying success, I'll try the Evening Echo as well.
I realise I have to tread carefully and with respect due to the relative recency of events.
