Hallo Wen55
It may be entirely irrelevant, but I have a Thomas Burberry acting as executor in the will of my ancestor John Tilt (1743-1811), of Dorking, specifically Capel. The will was drawn up in 1802, and proved in London in 1811, with administration granted to Thomas Burberry, and the other executor John Atlee.
Thomas is described as a yeoman of the parish of Newdigate, which is near Capel and Dorking.
I don't know much more. I am hoping to find a probate record for this will, as Thomas left four messuages and £4,350 to a dozen beneficiaries. If there is a probate record, it might say more about Thomas Burberry.
Regards, Beetle.
