Is there a mediacl directory for tracing canadian doctors in the 1880's.

There are some Canadian Directories available here: http://www.collectionscanada.ca/canadiandirectories/index-e.html

I can see Abner Cherry, your possible George's father, listed as the hotel keeper in Concord in the 1884-1885 Ontario Directory.  Haven't found a George Cherry, Physician yet...
