Hi
It’s a long time since I have visited this site. My name is Julia Perez (nee Williams). My family are the Granelli’s of Macclesfield. I write on behalf of my uncle Peter Devoti who would really like to get hold of a copy of the picture you have posted (a high quality version) is this still possible?
Kind regards
Julia

I am not sure how we are related to the Manchester family as the head John Devote born Italy is not a son of Jacob so does not fit into our tree.   We have a John Devote born 1844 Jacob's first son,  I have the marriage cert of John Devote Manchester and he puts his father down as Andrew and married an Emma Royle.

I have a John Devote on my tree, the birth date doesn't quite match up but he did marry an Emma. From my Ancestry 'Lifestory':

John Devote was born in 1847 in Italy. He had three daughters with Emma Devote between 1877 and 1880. He died on June 6, 1933, in Manchester, Lancashire, England, at the age of 86.

I don't know Emma's maiden name or his parent's names. Do you think it could still be the same person? He was an ice cream vendor, then delicatessen owner and his wife was an umbrella maker.
