Ellis Family Roxwell, Essex

I would be very grateful if you could look up for me the 1851 and 1861 census for the family of Charles Ellis born 1829 and Eliza Ellis nee Chapman born 1829.  I am pretty sure that they were still living at Roxwell or Cooks Mill Green at that time.

Thank you very much for looking up the 1851 and 1861 census records for me of my Ellis family. 

James Ellis married Keziah Oddy.  You don't happen to know where the name Keziah originates from do you?  It seems an unusual name for an Essex family!  Most of them stuck to Mary, Elizabeth, Sarah etc.

ELiza Chapman is in my tree, her daughter Harriet Ellis is my gt gt grandmother, she married George SKingley. Apparantly theres a gypsy link so maybe Keziah is of gypsy heritage

Hi,

Charles Thomas Ellis born 1863 (Harriet's brother) was my Great Grandfather.  His daughter Alice Mary being my Grandmother.

Interesting about the gypsy link, might explain why I haven't got very far back on that particular line.  Thank you.
