PELLEW family, Madron/Gulval/Penzance

I have an ancestor called Elizabeth Pellew, born in Gulval 1807, died 1895. I have no information about her parents/siblings, and wonder if anyone can help, please.
Also, I wonder if there is any connection between Elizabeth and Admirals Edward and Israel Pellew who sailed with Nelson at Trafalgar.

I presume Pellew is her maiden name?

Have you seen 1841 census for Gulval? Theres a family there, transcribed on ancestry as Pellens -

Thomas Pellew 70 Carpenter
Elizabeth 65
Israel 30 Carpenter
Elizabeth 30
Emma 25
/
Mary May? 12

All born in county

Ages rounded to nearest 30/35/40 etc

I have seen this before, but  I hadn't realised that the ages would be rounded up, so it looks as though you have found the right one.

There is an Elizabeth Pellew christened Gulval 1 Feb 1807 daur of Thomas Pellew and Elizabeth Murrish (it's the family someone else posted - Elizabeth Pellew/Murrish died in 1861), married a Mr Tonkin I think - is that yours?  if so I have some more info on that family.  Have you tried the West Penwith Resources website?

I don't think this can be the same Elizabeth, mine married a James Trewella. I have tried the W.Penwith Resources but can't get any further back at present.
