Anyone out there have a relative called Robert Hinds who was a master Mariner in the crosby maryport area?

Captain Robert Hinds was my g/g/g grandad shipwrecked off Port Rush Ireland in 1868, married to Frances Hinds.

I also have a memorial to captain Robert hinds who went down with his ship the jane in 1868,also trying to find out if there is any link to captain henry George kendall and howard mitchinson.

I just wanted to say that a couple of Trees I looked at may be wrong;

1851 Census they have Frances Hind and Children with her Mother Elizabeth born c  1785 Setmurthy, Cumberland.
The image has Mother in Law in Occp so this may be Roberts Mother and not hers.

MARRIAGE;
22 Oct 1839, Cross-Canonby, Cumberland
Robert HIND, Father THOMAS****
Frances HIND, Father JOHN

If you look on Ancestry Hinds-Flint Family tree (helentf1612) you will see the complete family history
