Norwich Birth/Christening Look-up Please

Hello Everyone

I have a challenging fellow for you.

All I have on my mysterious ancestor is this:
John ELWES - b. abt. 1778 in Norwich (apparently).
    - married in abt. 1807 to a Mary ? (possibly HORTON)
    - Mary was b. abt 1790 - not sure where

Any information on John ELWES would be fantastic.

There is a birth for James Elves/Elwes 1812 Leonard Shoreditch Death 17 July 1890  Rapid City, Manitoba, Canada
Parents John Elwes/Mary
Also
William 1808 Place: Shoreditch, England marr  31 Dec 183  Place: Robinson Home Georgina, Ontario
There are others but born in England after Immigration 1819 so ooppps

Thanks but I have this information already.  I am looking more for John ELWES and Mary ?'s parents and sibblings.  I have nothing on this couple except for their children and most of their families dating to the present date.  Any help with this couple would be appreciated.

I checked the LDS site - FamilySearch.org and couldn't find anything on the couple that you listed.

Also, I did searches on the Genealogy Surname Navigator and on Ancestory.com's free stuff and didn't have any luck.
