Hello Elsie

I am a descendant of Patrick & Mary Mullins, through their youngest son John William who was born in Melbourne and died in Bendigo.

I have a photograph of a group of miners at Bendigo, one of whom we believe is Patrick Murphy.   I would like to know the death date of Patrick.   I have not really found a death that confirms his death - one of a Patrick on the gold fields and no details are known because the informant did not know any.  I have Mary's death certificate which states her father's name was Jeremiah.   You state that the father of Patrick is Jeremiah as well.

I hope that you are interest in details of our desendancy.   I have cut the photo to just him as the whole photo was too large.

I thought forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely

Almareta

Great news Elsie and Almareta you have found a connection...its so difficult to find Murphy's in Ireland

maybe your Jeremiah and my Richard b. abt 1790 could be brothers or cousins

I would be very interested in any info if you find any  ::)

Good luck

Thanks Rose.  :) Appreciate your kind words.

It would be great if we can find a connection to your Richard. Anything is possible ... just takes a lot of time and patience in research....and heaps of luck!!!!

Here's hoping....

Hello Rose  :)

It would be good if we could find a connection, but it could be very difficult.  I have had no success in finding any of my Irish connections because they all seem to be too early.

Here's hoping  :)

In reply to your message in 2009 from almareta
James Ryder and Eleanor Fitzgerald Tipperary.

I have descendants of James born c1799 & Eleanor c1809 Ryder in Australia, I think his parents were John & Eleanor yet to be proven.
Eleanor Fitzgerald was born in Lambeth England father Thomas mother possibly Jane.

Not sure if this the best way to contact you, as new to this site
