William Salt, born in Waterfall, 1791/2

I am trying to find the parents of William Salt, born 1791/92,
in Waterfall, Staffs.

The 1861 census shows him living in Woodlincoln (now Woodlinkin) on the Derbyshire/ Notts border, but states his birthplace as Waterfall, Staffs (about 1791).

IGI gives a baptism of a William Salt in Waterfall on 16.12.1792, but I have no idea if this is the same person.

Can anyone help?
