Hi Andy, At this stage I am not sure who Reuben parents are. I have not looked or worked on this branch in quite awhile. Records I have found to date are that he married at least twice. That is about all I have to go on at the moment. Marg.

Reuben seems to stay in Hertfordshire.
Sept qtr 1853 he married Amelia Thackham Watford district.

 Amelia died Mar qtr 1891 aged 57.

2nd marriage
Mar qtr 1893 Emma Fisher

Emma on 1901 census born Chesham Bucks c. 1837

Reuben dies September qtr 1907 aged 80.

Emma on 1911 census widow

Thanks Jennifer. I didnt know the death year for Reuben, but I was aware of the two wives.

I have him in 1841 in Flaunden village with parents James, ag lab'rer c50 + Hannah c40 + siblings Amelia c15, Obed c15, Robert 9 + Catherine 6. Probable brother Giles c20 is a blacksmith nearby in Flaunden. In 1851 he is a lodger elsewhere in same village.
