Lewis had brother, Marks Jacobs, born 1885 in Lodz, Poland. They immigrated as young men, leaving their widowed mother.
Lewis married Milly and had about seven children including Lily, Jack, Alf and Regina. Lily had a daughter, Beverley and ran a shop in Harringay, N.4.
Marks married Annie Nachtajler in 1914. Their children were Lily, born 1915 and David, born 1916.

Sorry, not a relation.

But I just wanted to encourage you to tey and hunt them out yourself! Let's face it, the chance of another descendent being a Rootschatter is pretty slim - OK I know it does happen.
But the fun of family history (well to me anyway) is to do the detective work and piece it all together and trace families both backeards and forwards, so that you find your relations!

From 1911 when mother's maiden names are in the BMD indexes it can be relatively easy to trace them forwards.  you may need to splash out on a months subscription to Ancestry or similar to be able to plough through the indexes.
Or as I see you are in SE England, you may be able to fit in a trip to the London Metropolitan Archives where you will finf a host of London Parish registers.

Cant find MArks's marriage or his children.

Plenty of JAcobs's in Mile End Old Town area.

CAnt find death of Lewis or Marks, (or Milly) but they may be after the free coverage has faded out - you would need to look at full indexes. Then a will would be useful, as would probably mention all his survivng childen, giving married names for girls. MAybe lucky and find mention of grandchildren too.
