Hi Nomee
Given how recent these events are, to be honest this is not the best site for that type of information.
In case you don't know this, the on-line official pay to view site Scotlands People has records which stop at certain points:
Births up to 1905
Marriages up to 1930
Deaths up to 1955
Censuses up to 1901
For more recents records, maybe a way for you to proceed is to start working back with what you know for certain. I assume from your post that Mary Jane Lyons, who died recently, and was married to George Davidson Taylor was a daughter to Mrs Lyons. You could try to obtain their marriage cert. See the link below:
www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/famrec/bdm.htmlIf you can obtain their marriage cert., this would include details of who their parents were. If you are so uncertain of names and dates, work back slowly building up your facts until you are at the point where you can go on-line for records.
Maybe someone else here can suggest another way forward for you.
Don't give up, you just need to figure out how!
Regards.
Monica
