1861 census - Bedminster

I'm hoping somebody may be able to help with two witnesses at a marriage.

Carey Lansdown and Mary Ann Lansdown were witnesses at a marriage in Bedminster in 1860.  I can find a death of a Carey Lansdown in 1879, stating an age of 69.  However, their is no marriage listed for him, so Carey and Mary Ann may be siblings and not a couple.  I just don't know.  I was hoping they would be a couple, and the woman's maiden name may help me in my research.

Any help on them would be gratefully received.

Many thanks.

Can anybody see them in 1841?  And if they can, is there a John Griffiths with them or nearby.  Born about 1836.  John Griffiths had no father (according to his marriage cert in 1860), and he is in Bedminster work house for the 1851 census, as far as I can work out.

So, I am looking at the possibility that the Lansdowns may have been bringing him up in 1841.  Otherwise the most promising seanario comes from the fact that Carey Lansdown was the sexton of the church, and therefore was asked to be the witness due to his proximity.
