Hi there. I have William Orme-Johnson in El Paso in the 1930 census.
Orme-Johnson, William H, head, rents, $40/month, owns a radio, 47, 24 when he married, can read, born in England, year of immigration 1904, a machinist and owns his own shop.
Wife Edna is 47, born in Kansas, father born in NY, mother in Illinois.
Children: Betty, 21, teacher; Helen, 20, stenographer, William H Jr., 18, Dorothy, 16, Ruth, 14, all born in New Mexico.
In 1920, they are in El Paso, William owns his home with a mortgage, and they have a servant, Marie Santiesteban.
I can't find them in the 1910 census. But now I think I am on to something. William Jr. died in 1988 in Texas. Edmund died in 1979 in Texas and I think I have found a living relative. I will PM you with that information.
