Hi,

Gainsborough is in Lincolnshire.  It is separated from Nottinghamshire by the river Trent.  Misterton is on the Notts. side of the river but this is probably one of the vagaries of Registration districts!

Scotter is about halfway between Gainsborough and Scunthorpe.

Hope this helps.

Jill
Jowett & Broadbent in Leeds.
Perry, Hartshorn/e & Wilkes in Birmingham & Dudley. Walker and Dabill in Sheffield & Notts.
Farrar in Darlington & Leeds.
