Fewell website
« on: Wednesday 10 November 04 14:06 GMT (UK) »
Hi all
For some months I have been putting together a list of Fewell/Fuel's that I have come across on the census.
I have now put it on a web page.  I couldn't put it on my genie site at moonfruit as it was too big, so I've cleared out my Lycos site and put it on there.
I learnt all about using html yesterday, as it was the only way to put it on the site, so I hope it is easy enough for everyone to follow.
The site is http://members.lycos.co.uk/protectedlady/
I hope it will be of use to anyone doing the Fewell trail and if anyone has any info I can add, please email me.
I go back into hospital tomorrow for my second joint replacement, so bear with me if I don't answer any emails straight away.

My Paternal Grandmother was a Fewell. Before my father died 18 months ago he had researched the Fewell family tree. They were the Chignall, Essex, Fewells. My Grandmother being the youngest of 13 children! This branch links back to the William Fewell of Great Waltham (about 5 miles from Chignal). My father (who after early retierment became a minister and was Vicar of chignall Smealy for several years) went back alot further, in fact 6 generations back, to Robert Fewell who married in April 1581 in Suffolk! I have his final "Tree" here but all his research is at my mother's. (She still lives in Broomfield, Essex) I have alot of data some of which is on a disc for which I have not got the programme on my PC. When I get time I will try to sort it. I hope in due course I can get all this information on this site to help you all.
