O'Dwyer's of Emly. Exciting Update!!!!

After doing some research on Emly, I discovered that they have their own website. I contacted the Parish Priest and he emailed me back a few days later with a list of 15 Names. In this list was my Great Grandparents, Grandad and 12 Great Aunts and Uncles!!!!!  ;D

It also seems, that while my Grandad had the name O'Dwyer, the family were actually just Dwyer, but my Great Grandfather deserted the young family, and my Great Grandmother died shortly after leaving the eldest daughter of 19 year old to bring up her siblings, so there must have been an awful lot of confusion!

I am now hoping that he will be able to give me some more info.

I am writing on behalf of a solicitor in Co. Limerick who is handling the estate of a woman who has died without a will.  I am the researcher for the solicitor and think that the deceased and your father were second cousins.  Is there a way we can communicate in a more private way?
