Can you believe, one person in this household - with slightly more money than sense I might add, has spent £80 on a flag especially for the occasion?  :o
To be honest we can't wait - mummy bear and daddy bear watching baby bear having the time of his life with all you good folk in the sunshine! 
We will remain friends - for the time being at least!!

It's a shame when work gets in the way of a good discussion!

I admire your boy's patriotism, outlaying all that money on a flag!  I should point out that Lord's doesn't let you take in a flag - if they find you with one, it's confiscated!  Very stuffy there, they are. 

A shame that expenditure will be all in vain!  But we shouldn't hijack soulseekingpassion's thread.  Maybe someone should start up an Ashes thread on the Even Lighter Lighter Side, and we could do all our battling there!!!
