Yes, it's so interesting, and lovely to know I have relatives also looking into the family tree. Located in Ayrshire on the West coast of Scotland.
We have also gone as far back as Brian/Bernard McCormick/McCormaig who married Ann McNeill. We only have information on our direct lines, so have nothing on siblings apart from their names and year born worked out from censuses.

elizabeth married john dunnett on 12/04/1907 in govan she has changed her name to mccormack she died on 25th july 1933 their son john  mccormackdunett was born 16.12/1919 in brough caithness he married a jessie mckay and the had four children ian ,ishbel ,hugh ,and elizabeth . i have more details  of the dunnet connection but as yet not  itemised them. hope this is off interest to you . this a bit long winded way of doing things not sure if can send attachments

I had a distant relative in Edinburgh called James Stephenson who married a Mary Ann Dunnet from Caithness in 1876. Her parents James Dunnet, mason, and Ann Sinclair were married in 1849 at Thurso.

Hi. I have been reading, with interest all the posts made on the McCormicks. My grandmother was Alice McCormick.
 I would love to hear from anyone about her and the rest of the family on her side. It's been a long time since your posts. I hope this may reach some of you.
