Could you look for an Andrew Young in Kilmarus?

I belive he was buried about 1835.  His wife was Margaret Howie Young who he married on July 11, 1760 in Kilmarus.  I belive she was born about 1739.  Thank you very much!- kristin

In  High Kirk Churchyard, Kilmarnock I  found the following;

wife Margaret Howie Young died 24-7-1846 aged 41 years; James Stevenson, Saddler died 12-2-1857 aged 47 years; Children Andew Melville Stevenson died auckland, New Zealand 17-3-1861 aged 21 years, william arthur Stevenson died 5-3-1862 aged 27 years, Mary Stewart McAlister Stevenson [ husband John Gemmell] died 29-6-1867 aged 29 years. John Gemmell [Stevenson]  died  died 16-1-1872 aged 39 years.
Could be a daughter?
The next gravestone is Stevenson /Gemmell. If you want a transcript of this gravestone let me know, BOB

Hi, Bob,
Would much appreciate if you can tell me if there are any records of Fairs buried in the Kilmarnock to Galston area.

Particularly the family of Thomas Fair who was killed in a mining accident in Galston in 27 Sep 1882.

The Fair family moved from Kilmarnock ~1850 through Crougar to Galston.

Thanks,

Jim
