Iris

Just as an aside, the area of Neithrop known as Paradise, or Paradise Rd, is now part of Bath Road (the Warwick Road end, by Neithrop House).  Paradise Rd used to run from Warwick Rd in the north, south towards the Broughton Rd and ended as a cul-de-sac outside the entrance to People's Park.  It was extended to meet the existing Bath Rd which was built to meet the Broughton Rd in the late 1800s.

I'm not sure when Paradise Rd was formally renamed Bath Rd, but there are still people living in Banbury who remember it as Paradise.

Personally, I would prefer to live in Paradise!
