Thankyou for looking. I had googled with no luck, so I guess its one I'll just have to hope on
Must say you have set the memories going about the village and its people.
Mind you have to grin. I set out doing this looking for relatives and end up in the village where I was born and find my babysitter  .   Always did things wrong

Thats good. there is a web site on it http://www.ridgewayvillage.org.uk/ but very little on there, nor does it appear to have been updated in a while. Please let me have the addy if you do one

Can't find Richard turner in Eckington 1777 but did find this  Hannah Turner= William & Elizabeth bapt 5/1/1777, then I realised I should have checked Staveley as well, quite a few Turners there, will do next time

The correct title for the book is "Ridgeway village & it's Industries" by Willis Fox there is no Isbns number as it was published privately and there are very few copies about
