  ???Is there anyone with this surname COCK, we have come across this name in the family research in the 1794 or around that time.

Our Hester Cock married b 1764 Berkshire m Edward Chaplin b 1770 Easthampstead, Berkshire.

These ancestors we the Family researching and thought perhaps someone would have a connection or perhaps they lived next door to one of there relations.

Hi all,

I have just been given information from a UREN rellie in Cornwall, about a Hester COCK who married a William UREN (he was born Gulvall 12/8/1810) so would assume Hester was born around that time too.  They married in Gulvall on 8/6/1839.   That's all the information I have, but will be searching for their children soon.

Does this tie in with anyone???

I have Johannah Cock 1850 Rotherwick, dau of George 1799 and Lucy nee Pink 1808 who married William Cocks (with and "S")  in 1873 and had 10 children in the Beech Hill/Stratfield Mortimer area.

I think that my rellie has given me the wrong information anyway, because I thought I had all the right information and then he dropped this bombshell on me.  I will pursue it with him now but ............ I was only asking others researching the COCK name, just in case .....................
