1930s snapshots
« on: Friday 06 October 06 22:32 BST (UK) »
I found a little album of snapshots at a car boot sale in Lancaster recently, and have posted them at http://snapshots.rootschat.net/

Those mentioned in the captions include: Dr Andrew Davis (or Davies) and family members, of Silverdale, Sutton on sea; Mr L.A. Garnett (?) & family members at Spalding; Mr Chesterton and family members at Spalding; Mr & Mrs Maudsley; Mrs Linch; Mr Burton; Councillor Banks and Mr & Mrs Davis Banks (?) at Fulney Farm, Spalding.

I hope they're of interest to somebody,

Nick

Nick...the link you provided for the photo of famlies at Spalding does not work.  Could you send to me?  I'm interested in the Chesterton family.

Hi Rivergull

These were on Rootschat webspace but as you say, seem to have disappeared?

You can now see them at http://www.wsom.co.uk/snapshots/index.html

I hope they are of interest - if you would like a better quality version of any of the images, let me know & I can email them to you.

Kind regards

Nick
