Do you have any more clues? There are 3 John Humphreys born 1872 give or take a year in Llangyfelach. None of them have a middle initial. All 3 families are on the 1891 census as well. Only one of the Johns is on the 1901, but he's not with his parents so no knowing which one it is. Parents' names would be good but in the 3 couples there are 2 Margarets and 2 Philips, the other 2 being a Catherine and a William. As for occupations, one tin plate worker, one miner and one steel something who becomes a miner. So difficult to be sure
