Harriett, daughter of John Hooper Redstone, private soldier in the Royal Newfoundland Regiment of Fencible Infantry and of Margaret, his wife, was born January the twentieth and baptised February the third, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred eleven by me, Salter Jehosophat Mountain, officiating minister at Quebec.
Present: John Hooper Redstone, father
Margaret Redstone, mother, proxy for Jane Redston

This Harriet was the second daughter named Harriet born to John and Margaret. There is also a burial in the Drouin Collection which indicates that a daughter named Harriet was born 28 Sep 1809. That Harriet was baptised and died on 9 Oct 1809 and was buried on 10 Oct 1809. The entry was recorded in the same parish as the other Harriett's baptism by the same minister.
