Also, your Tobias 'L' Annison was in fact Tobias Smith Annison, who married Ida Elizabeth Malton in Dec 1883 Sculcoates

Here he is in 1881:

His father Edward Stewar(t/d) Annison was married to Selina Ursula Hastings before marrying Mary Ann. Selina dies in 1855, and he remarries Mary Ann Smith very soon afterwards. (Dec 1855 Sculcoates)

Hope you don't mind me having a short go at the Clipsons:

Edward William Clipson is in fact age 27 instead of 20 on the 1881 image. He marries Susanna Howsam in June quarter 1876, Caistor registration district.

His father William marries Rachel Snell in Dec 1849 Caistor.

Edited to get firstnames right  :-[

He's listed variously as Tobias T, L and Smith. He is remembered by the family. The records show him as coach proprietor though he actually built a very successful undertaking business - T.S. Annisons on Holderness Road in Hull. The business is still a going concern. My father had fond memories of playing in the stables and watching the horses.

Yep, must be. That would be supported by the business name.
