I am a Edgecumbe my self. I am interested in finding out things about my family. I am only 12 so I can not look that hard but could you please tell me some things about them. Who knows you might bring things up about me or my dad mum and/or brothers.

Hello Alan, my mother is Daphne Elizabeth (nee Egecumbe) Johnston. Her father was Henry Hume (known as Hume) married to Lucy Rebecca Manning. Henry's father was George Edgcumbe propieter Waikato Times newspaper. Henry Hume had 4 daughters Barbara, Nancy, Daphne (know as Betty) and Mary. Sorry for not being in contact sooner. Kaye Johnston

  Thank you for your response, I have had contact with someone I believe you know, a Marion Manning who has updated me on all the details. I have also put another member of the family in touch with Marion this person lives in NSW she is  Robyn Stanger who  is also chasing the family details. I am always happy to discuss the family with other members, so will send you my email address via another source.
As an aside Annie and Morgan Tremble's children are my 9th cousins.

My interest is in Henry Edgecombe b abt 1815 Tenbury, cabinet maker, moved to London and married Eliza Annie Cable.  On the marriage records states his father as John Edgecombe. 

Can you point me in right direction to find out more about this branch of the family
