A proper scan is required Kirsty. Have you got the original photo?

There is a chance we could recover more of your gran's face with a better scan, if you look closely at the ones posted, you can see her right eye... a better scan might enable us to bring out both her eyes.

Been playing around a bit, definitely think it would be worth getting a better scan as there is more detail there that could be brought out.

Thanks for the replies ... altho you saying just get dad to scan it in Tomkin may be easier said than done LOL My partner does the scanning and things for my dad when we are in Cornwall he can print but thats about it so i would need to be able to talk him through the process! so wont be easy lol

ill get hold of him this evening and see if he can have a go, he tried last night with another photo and managed to scan it but it ended up tiny, about as big as a stamp! and he didnt know how to adjust it ... so bare with me and ill try talk him through this evening,

It would be wonderful to see her eyes a little more clearer Looking forward to future tries xx Kirsty
