I'm looking for any record of a Samuel Wincote born on or around 1815. He had 6 daughters, one of which Mary Wincote born within 10 years on either side of 1841. He also had a brother called Charles.
There is a Mary Wincote of Leamington who's father is Charles Wincote and mother Elizabeth Bastock. Her marriage record (she married a Henry King of Northamptonshire) on family geneology links her with these parents. However according to actual photographs of the Wincote family of the time, Mary's father was infact Samuel.
So far all research points to Charles but it is difficult to refute the evidence provided by family members, and all the census records I've searched, there doesn't appear to be a Samuel Wincote at all.
Any help, or pointers of where I could possibly go to find out anything, would be greatly received.
More importantly has anyone information on any Samuel Wincote's of Warwickshire?
