Notwithstanding the sacrifices you are making in checking out the ground for possible venues for this planned Meet, I'd just like to make a serious point.

Can't meet up for your reccy, but can you start thinking about what people can do to help in planning/preparing for the meet?

I am happy to volunteer to do things to support the meeting, from a distance, eg putting together details of places to stay etc.

I am sure others are willing to volunteer too

Can't have you carrying all the burden   :)
