I would like to get the real feel of the old Glasgow - the tenements, society, poverty and the humour that is peculiar only to Glaswegians  ..  .. meles you will kill me, but I think a Victorian Historian sounds very interesting!!

I agree, a Victorian Historian could be really interesting.  Glasgow has featured on WDYTYA a couple of times and that looks an interesting period.
