We're waiting on Pam's coursework dates, which she won't know until next month/year.

Then we have to be canny about venues and avoiding peak season because of costs.

It will probably be Central belt because of ease of travel and access to 'things' . Maybe those who want to do the Highlands could have an extended break  :)

What's 'central belt' mean?  Remember, a few sassenachs might want to show up!

It's the area surrounding the Glasgow/Edinburgh axis.  Basically the bit between the Border hills and the Highlands.  Been searching for a mpa to show you, but not found one yet.

This link should illustrate the point - as long as it's shown in "hybrid":

And, if we're stuck for things to do when we meet up there, 'Livingston Alive' advises:

Lets start off by finding out what people do to pass their time.  People can either listen to a wide selection of local and BBC radio stations, including Radio Forth, Radio Clyde, Non-Stop Beat 106 and BBC Radios 1,2,3,4 and FiveLive.   They might watch TV or go to the local cinema.

Hmm - sounds like my kinda town!
