Latton (Harlow) marriage lookup please

I'd be really grateful if some kind soul could help me find the following marriage:

At  Latton nr Harlow of a  Joseph Petts to a Mary ? sometime between 1800-6

Latton is the bride's birthplace, she was born around 1782 and their likely first child was baptised in 1806 there; their second baptised at Netteswell in 1808.

Hope it's not too much to ask but it would help knock down a monstrous brickwall!

No marriage on originsnetwork..........the only one being in 1812 of a Jos Pett to a Mary Ousden and that was at Stapleford, Cambridgeshire

Regrettably I don't think either are "mine", (too late or wrong name), although it is interesting that there are other Petts around the area - it'd be lovely to make a connection.

I suppose the Joseph Petts that you found on the 1841 could be the father of the Joseph who married Mary .....?  Epping's not too far away is it?

From Harlow to just east of Chelmsford (approx 10 miles) is where you will find well over 90% of the Petts (incl variants).............places such as Harlow, Sheering, High Laver, Matching, Mashbury, Roding, Hatfield Heath, Writtle are where you will find them going back into the mid 1700's at least..............

for me..........the probability is you are looking at one family!

You're right - I am looking at only one family but only because I haven't yet  found  the connections with all the other Petts that are tantalisingly around the area.

You'd think with so many that I'd be able to find a marriage of Joseph Petts to a Mary  in the area at the beginning of the nineteenth century and a birth of the same Joseph around 1780 and then perhaps a link to parents and siblings.  But nothing so far! I'm having to do this research remotely, as I live in Spain and can't visit the record offices or churches.
