I'm really stuck on finding any info on her born 1872 ish born in moulton cheshire, other than she married John Smith Dewhurst in 1895 can't find her on 1881 census (the free one), i'm trying to find out what her parents were called

There is NO birth registered for Ann Amelia Whitlow in Cheshire around this time...  No AAW shows up on census, either! 

I think you may need the marriage cert to get any further.

I can't see Annie in the 1881 census either - or 1891 for that matter. Nor can I find her birth registration details (on FreeBMD). Your best bet is to order a copy of a marriage certificate. It will give her father's name so you'll have some additional info to work with.

Ann Amelia Whitlow married John Smith Dewhurst in the december quarter 1894 Altrincham. Vol 8a page 259. Ann Whitlow birth registered Altrincham June quarter 1872 Vol 8a Page 205. I found Annie Whitlow born c1871 living in Broughton Salford (not far from Altrincham) with father Albert C and mother Annie in the 1881 census, she is in the same place in 1891 as a dress maker. I can't be sure that is who you are looking for but hope it helps. Regards RAL.
