Color please, my attempts are disasters.
« on: Tuesday 26 September 06 18:02 BST (UK) »
The dress and bow should be pale green, hair white blond. Sorry can't remember the 'pram at all.

I have always had this 'photo and often wondered what it would look like with color.

Then I was introduced to this site.................couldn't believe my eyes at the results everyone produces.

I hope someone is able to help with this

Hi Anne

This is far to small to work with really. If you are able to re-scan it try and obtain a scan setting of at least 300dpi.

I am a complete idiot with computers. But I have it in "my photos" and I just enlarged it on there and resaved.

So I'll try again but I'm not sure what will happen.

Thank you for pointing that out to me.

Nope, it doesn't look any better. I'd better try to find a reference book before I try again.

Hi Anne - Enlargening an existing picture will NEVER improve results. If this is the only pic you have on your PC and you cannot re-scan the original as advised I am afraid we are limited in what can be achieved sorry  :-\

Does that mean that it could be worked on now?

Could you please explain in English (US or Brit) what you did?

I have a lot of 'photos that over a period of time I would love to put on here but they are all tiny.

Thank you, it's still a darned sight better than my try

Hmmm. My mother always told me that I was a very beautiful child!!!! Not too sure about that anymore............I think she was very biased LOL

But again thank you, I'm starting to see resemblances to other family members with a little bit of color added.
