John Lees married Margaret Flynn 1851

Hello flora

Is it possible you have posted the wrong year of marriage for Robert and Agnes Kirkland?  I didn't try and track it down but I did notice there is an interesting entry in the 1881 census that looks like it could be them with a full family....

They are found at 31 Clunes Vennel,Newton On Ayr, Ayr, Scotland GROS 578 ED 14  p 27

The household consists of Robert LEES age 48 b. Prestwick, Ayr, Scotland and he is head and had occupation of Pilot.  His wife is Agnes Kirkland LEES   age 38, b.   Prestwick, Ayr, Scotland. 

Children are as follow:
Mary LEES    age11 b. Prestwick, Ayr, Scotland
Robert LEES age 8 b. Ayr, Ayr, Scotland
John M. E. LEES age 6 b. Ayr, Ayr, Scotland
Agnes B. K. LEES age 4 b. Ayr, Ayr, Scotland
Marion LEES age 2 b.Newton, Ayr, Scotland
Rosanna LEES age11 m, b. Newton, Ayr, Scotland

Hi, Thanks for that, this is the same family,i know that rosanna went to New York where she married a Carl Prummer, 1905.The marriage date for Robert and Agnes was 1868 in Monkton, got muddled up with another Robert.Thanks again much appreciated.Flora
