Hi,
My father has found a card detailing the burial place of his grandfather. It says;
Hendon Park Cemetery, Mill Hill, N.W.7 Christopher St.John Wright, no. of grave 49025. G.4. The reverse side of this certificate says the cemetery is situated within about 200 yards of Mill Hill East Station, on the L.N.E.Railway and is 12 minutes' walk from Finchley, - Church End Station, L.N.E.Railway.
Originally I was going to ask "is this in Mill Hill or Hendon' but having looked on multimap I can see exactly where it is. So I guess the only, really cheeky, question left is ; "does anyone ever go to this cemetery and would they like to hunt for a grave for me ...... " ?!? I don't even know when he died (although probably 1920's or 30's) so it would be really useful if someone happened to be passing by .....?
Also, as a general point, if you have the grave number how easy is it to find them does anyone know? All I've ever done before it wandered around aimlessly till I've found (or not found) someone.
