Hello Winston

My apologies for a very tardy reply, and many thanks for the Fogo clan details, which I have to confess I haven't had time yet to digest. I will do in the next dayor two and let you have details of where I fit in to all this.

Thanks again

I know this is a very old thread now but I was searching on the name Foggo and it came up.

I have an Agnes Foggo who I think was married to George Banks although possibly not....

What I do know is that my Great Great Grandmother Ann Storie (ms Banks) lists George Banks and Agnes Foggo as her parents on her marriage record to John Storie in 1863 in Edinburgh. It doesn't say Foggo is her maiden surname although on her death record the informant says it is.

Agnes if the informant on some Ann's children's birth records right up to 1876 but I can't find her death.

I really don't know much more about her but I do know the family is around East Lothian a lot so wondered if they might be linked to your Foggo family?

Thanks for getting in touch. My most recent Foggo is Jean who married William Trotter 1811 in Garvald, She was born in 1791, so is one if not 2 generations before yours. They may well be connected in some way but my interest goes back not forward. If it helps, she was baptised 1791 in Haddington, daughter of John and Jean Reid (Reat).

Regards
