I am currently transcribing my grandfathers ww1 war diaries. In it his girlfriend is a Gladys Fensom of 187 High Road, Chiswick, London. Now he never married this girl and I have always wondered what happened. (He survived the war, being a sniper). I think Gladys was born around 1897. Is your Gladys the same as my Gladys? Although the birth dates don't tally? Any ideas?
