Yes really... my grandad x 4 , Fidel Beurle, was a journeyman clockmaker who married in Birmingham in 1855, his witness was Michael Zahringer, also clockmaker and my grandma x 4's witness was Charlotte Fritz, wife of Matthias Fritz, also clockmaker. I'm interested to see if anybody else has happened upon these clockmakers in their research or indeed knows anything of this trade in this area around the 1850's - 1860's.
