Hi
I have an Esther Bosley in my family.Born Shaw kiln road in Newbury in1872. Married a William Dunford. Is this a relative???
Paul

Hello,
I have just been looking for 'Bosley' in Berks and I found these interesting replies to your message.
I am a descendant of Esther Bosley of the 1841 Census, she was my great , great grandmother and I have a picture of her also her children.  I have been looking for her siblings for a while.
If William is her brother and Henry your great grandfather, I would love to exchange information.
Best wishes,
Penlee.

Hello,
My Esther was born c1832/33 at Little Hungerford which was a Hamlet outside the village of Bucklebury, Berks.  I do not know very much about the Bosley's but I know they are in the Bucklebury/Hampstead Norris area on the 1841 census but have gone according to the 1851 census.

Esther was born a generation or two before your Esther but she may well be related in some way as  Shaw Kiln Road, Newbury cannot be very far from Little Hungerford .

My Esther's brothers were
Job who drowned in the Kennet and I do not know as yet whether he was  married.

Edwin who became Edward, went into the army, married a Maltese girl, had one daughter who was born in Gibraltar and then he went to Canada and remained there.

William who married Mary Ann, was a brick and tile maker.  He moved to Tilehurst and Egham, ending up in the midlands.

John was a brick maker and I do not know much about him yet.

Do you know the names of your Esthers parents?  By any chance are any of Esther's brothers in your tree as uncles or great uncles?

Best wishes,
Penlee.
