You are an absolute genius. Thank you so much for finding that information. I was looking and looking and I think after a while you can't see what you're looking for.

I'm really pleased to find some information about Jessie Jaffray, especially as there were two ladies of that name, I was beginning to think I was imagining mine.

I'm also pleased that I have an ancestor with a different occupation. That's the first flesher and one of the minority of my family who were not ag labs. 

I've contacted Scotland's People about my unreadable downloads. Thanks for telling me about that.

Hmm this has confused me as i have Jessie Jaffray died 1926 peterhead age 84 married to William Davidson
Davidson-Peterhead, Geddes-Peterhead, Buckie, banffshire. Milne - Peterhead. Porters - Peterhead. Buchan - Peterhead. Buchan - St.Combs.
