The Archer's is still going???? Amazing! I remember listening with my Nana. There had to be absolute silence for the Archers...... and Mrs. Dales Diary.

Hi Lydart - How I loved Dick Barton - Special Agent when I was a kid living in London. Do you remember Paul Temple and his offsider Steve.  ???   Happy Days - and now we have reality - some reality - not that I ever watch it - would rather listen to the radio........ or wait for my certificates  ::)

WDYTYA & ordering certificates
« Reply #30 on: Sunday 03 September 06 19:51 BST (UK) »
As WDYTYA started on Wednesday, I have ordered some more certificates today, before the rush. I'll let you know how long it takes (they're usually very quick). Be interesting to compare with those who order after Wednesday.

I ordered 2 on the 23rd August, was given a despatch date of the 31st, and they both arrived on Sept 1st. I didn't even have time to get excited as they arrived before I was looking for them!

I ordered 3 certificates on 28 August and got them today.  Unfortunately one of them was the wrong one: as in a surname I've never even heard of before.  The worst thing is that the one I ordered was hopefully my great gran's birth certificate and should finally solve a mystery it has taken me years to untangle  :(

Just got off the phone and from the recorded warnings about tonight's WDYTYA I'm not holding out hope for getting my answer quickly  :'(
