Civilian workers at Chatham Barracks
« on: Monday 11 September 06 10:31 BST (UK) »
Hi, on the Chatham Barracks subject, it looks as though my great x4 grandmother was Bridget Connell, born Galway, working as a general servant at the barracks in 1851.  Would Kew hold just military records or would they hold information on civilian workers too?  Can anybody shed any light on this? I haven't a clue!!!!!!!!!
