birth/baptism look-up WHITBY/WHIDBY

I wonder if anyone has records for the North Norfolk area and could look up baptisms for me please for children of John and Sarah WHITBY/WHIDBY between 1793 and 1800.    The marriage was in Burnham Sutton 1793 and I have birth and baptism for Rowland in Docking 1800.

Found a couple of entries for you.

BURNHAM SUTTON and ULPH

Baptisms

1794 july16 WHIDBY THOMAS son of JOHN and SARAH (HENDRY) born july9 private baptism recorded aug1.

1796 feb28 WHITBY ELIZABETH daug of JOHN and SARAH (HENDRY) born feb25 private baptism recorded april17.

1796 april17 WHIDBY ELIZABETH daug of JOHN and SARAH (HENDRY) born feb25.

There is a discrepancy somewhere with Elizabeth's baptism dates but this is how it has been transcribed on the cd I have, you would need to have a look at the original records to resolve this. There is also a burial record.

Thank you very much for finding those for me     If its not too much of an imposition, and your cd has Docking on it, could you possibly check for any more there?   I feel there could well have been another birth c1798.
I've come across private baptisms before but not sure what it means, another question for another time methinks!
These Whitbys have proved very elusive!!

I am afraid to say that the cd does not cover every area which is very frustating as my relatives started out in this area of Norfolk before they moved to the North East of England. My ggg granddad Rhodes Emms was living in Burnham Sutton at the same time as your Whitby family and one of his children is on the same page as your Elizabeth. I bought the cd thinking it covered all of this area of Norfolk but unfortunately it does not. I did a search of the whole cd  for Whitby/Whidby and there are more entries but not in this area. If I can assist in anything else let me know, I have another cd that covers marriages.

Thanks for looking anyway.    Rowland married Celia Greaves in Sedgeford and they had several children most of whom, along with a number of the Greaves families, like your own ancestors moved to the north east.   My direct line remained in Norfolk, my father was born in Sedgeford.
